COM and Iziko Museums of South Africa are hosting a training workshop for English speaking museum professionals from Africa. Participants will have the opportunity to meet to develop their skills in community and stakeholder engagement across all disciplines, as related to museum practice. The training workshop, entitled “Museum futures today: relevant, meaningful and responsible”, will encourage the participants to rethink their role as museum workers and as participants and partners in social and community change.
